Future Continuous
The future continuous tense is used for actions that will be in progress at a certain time in the future.
Formation
Subject + will be + verb-ing
I will be working at 10 AM tomorrow. She will be flying to Paris next week. They will be playing soccer this weekend.
When to Use
- Interrupted actions in the future: I will be sleeping when you arrive.
- Parallel actions in the future: While you are cooking, I will be cleaning.
- Polite inquiries: Will you be using the car later?
Note
Just like present continuous, we generally do not use non-continuous verbs (like, want, know) in this tense.
