Future Perfect
The future perfect is used to express an action that will be completed before another action or time in the future.
Formation
Subject + will have + past participle
I will have finished the report by Friday. She will have graduated by next year. By the time we arrive, the movie will have started.
When to Use
- Completion before a deadline: By 5 PM, I will have sent all the emails.
- Duration before a future event (with non-continuous verbs): Next month, we will have been married for 10 years.
